Interim Course Leader, MSc Digital Marketing

Guido Dal Pozzo is a Senior Lecturer on MSc in Digital Marketing and provides a solid academic background to the course. He holds an MA in Media and Communications and has worked in the Fashion industry for over fifteen years as well as engaging with full time teaching in different Universities.

Research

His interests are particularly around the areas of ethical practice in business and marketing and Media studies. He has worked in various roles at different universities, ranging from Lecturer to UG Course Leader, and is very happy to help with all aspects of university life as well as your course.

2024 ongoing – PhD Student; Brand Communication. There are questions arisen where brands have a social purpose or just exploit or claim sustainable practices purely as a persuasive method to gain visibility with the stakeholders and the shareholders. Accepting we are in a post-Fordist society, the role of advertising is still embedded in mediating production and products (either tangible or intangible) and consumption. 

2014 – MA Dissertation investigated post-Fordist economy. My work examines the role of Benetton clothing company in the context of ongoing debates on post-Fordist capitalism.  

2013 -BA Thesis in Communications and Public Relations My work examines the studies of Joshua Meyrowitz. Applying his theories to the diffusion of the new media and correlated to social media and new social contexts.
